Cameron Dougherty

Cameron’s passion for glass began in 2007 when he first gathered molten glass on the end of a rod. He refined his skills through formal study at the Penland School of Craft in North Carolina, followed by a five year apprenticeship in California and professional studio work along the West Coast.

In 2017, he founded Dougherty Glassworks in British Columbia. Working from his independent studio in Langley, Cameron creates handcrafted blown glass that balances clean design with everyday function. Each piece is shaped by hand using traditional hot shop techniques, resulting in refined forms with subtle individuality.

He is committed to craftsmanship, material exploration, and contributing to the local glass community.
