Victoria Murray

Victoria Murray’s 30-year jewellery making journey began in high school selling to friends and family and running a summer retail store with her best friend and business partner.

Following her graduation from the Jewellery Arts Program at George Brown College, she established her own gold and silver jewellery line from her downtown Toronto studio. Victoria’s work was sold across Canada.

After the birth of her daughter a few years later, Victoria’s interest turned to paper arts. She spent many years honing her skills in digital design and floral illustration.

In 2017 Victoria spent a month with her mom in palliative care at a local hospital. During this time of sadness and reflection her mind began to search for a way to combine her love of paper, colour and jewellery. The seeds for her business, Paper & Posie were sown. The next three years of trial and error resulted in a unique technique that makes her signature pieces so special.

Paper & Posie jewellery begins with a photo of a flower taken by Victoria from her neighbourhood or travels. The images are then digitally traced and hand coloured. After professional printing the illustrations are fabricated into multi-layered and double-sided jewellery pieces that are covered in high gloss resin.
