Jean Bradbury

Jean Bradbury was born in the Shetland Islands and has lived near the North Sea, the Salish Sea and the Bay of Fundy. She currently splits her time between Bowen Island, British Columbia and Seattle.

Her painting celebrates the natural world of plants and animals. Most recently she has been exploring the coastal regions of British Columbia and its rain forest. Wildflowers and other native plants populate her moody landscapes. Shorebirds and sea creatures have also begun to appear in her work as she explores, hikes, kayaks and ferries her way through the magic of the west coast environment.

Her work is found in private and public collections in the USA, Canada, Australia, Jordan, The United Kingdom and Greece.
