Mumtaz Bandali’s work is deeply influenced by her affinity to nature, life experiences, and the beauty found in her surroundings. Mumtaz is an avid traveller and always loves admiring landscapes, flowers, lakes, trees and scenery in the different places she visits.

New Feature Artist Opportunity: Artists have the opportunity to showcase their work for 1 month at the Gallery with extra marketing and promotions of their work. Please let us know if you would like to apply for a Featured Artist session. Dates will be determined at the time of the application.

Featured Artist at Catching Stars for the month of June, Jenna Smillie is a freelance artist from British Columbia, Canada. She graduated from the prestigious Emily Carr University with a Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts. Jenna lives and works in the Greater Vancouver area with husband, two wonderful children and Golden Retriever Sage.

Our Feature Artist for the month of May is Gregg Simpson, an internationally exhibited and recognized artist with roots in surrealism and abstraction.

He is influenced by the forested landscape surrounding his home on Bowen Island near Vancouver and by impressions gathered while traveling  in Europe.
